Why are these often courageous first reponders fighting for the right to harm the public and expose themselves to harm? With over 2 billion doses administered worldwide, they can't substantiate anything other than some outrageous and unsupported fearfulness as an excuse for this terrible misconduct.
Meanwhile, usually, courts rule that in order to sue one must have suffered some sort of harm, with this legal construction a plaintiff will no longer need to show that they have suffered any harm to justify that they are entitled to court-administered damages. If this Texas law is allowed to stand we're in new legal territory, who knows what comes next? Probably such legal chaos that courts may no longer be able to function as unbiased referees on behalf of adversarial parties.
These Republicans are destroying the republic by calling into question every norm that has underlay the nations success over the last 200+ years. Why, for example, they ask; do we need to separate church from state? From men who apparently believe that their religion is the only true one.
