Watch Rachel Maddow Highlights: October 28th | MSNBC

Gee, doesn't this mean that they all knew in January that Covid 19 was going to be terribly serious?  So then, why no outcry when Trump tried to minimize the threat that Covid 19 meant to the nation?  Worse yet is the fact that Trump was actually sentencing people do death by his failure to implement CDC recommendations to prevent or slow the spread of the disease and he instead not only failed to warn and advise the public properly, he politicized the medical recommendations.

The evidence against the Senator is just circumstantial but, were I on a jury I would not believe that both or either of the stock sales were coincidental.  The evidence of insider trading is circumstantial yet as strong as it could get without direct evidence.  After all, you wouldn't expect anyone to be allowed to witness directly the illegal action the Senator was performing, therefore you would only expect there to be circumstantial evidence of the crime and you have that.  The absence of direct evidence, in this case, could only be held against the defense, if and only if, the lack of direct evidence was coincidental rather than contrived and we expect criminals to contrive to cover up the evidence that might be used against them.  They often forget to cover up the circumstantial evidence,  figuring that it can be explained away as "coincidental".
