Historically, Republicans take power and spend, spend, spend money on nothing that does the nation any good and block and ignore all of the nations needs. They spent nothing on infrastructure, nothing on the nations health crisis until it was too late, then politicized the science and attacked the institutions that we rely upon to keep things running smoothly. They've broken everything and messed up royally since they "got the keys back" from Obama, who took the wheel after they'd "run the car into the ditch".
Four more years of Republican rule would have been more than the country could take, we might well have done better under Putin than Trump.
