As Rachel Maddow says, they will need a supermajority to do this. It is unlikely they will be able to change their constitution. The more important events taking place is where the USSC is holding Trump's tax returns that SDNY needs to begin their investigations. Are they trying to run out the statute of limitations by hold Trump's tax returns so that Trump can go free again?
