This is nothing less than witness tampering. Ghislane needs out of jail
— she is not going to get it, but they had to give her something to make
it seem like they were seriously considering it. So they moved her
to a more amiable location and, since it was against the rules, it had
a taste and feel of good things to come, exactly the illusion Trump
was seeking. He can't pardon her because midterms could break him,
and he can't afford to take that chance.
