If you voted for Trump, perhaps you didn't think you were voting for
a trade war, but what you were voting for is stupidity, misogyny, bigotry
and dishonesty. You watched silently over 8 long years as he said things
that were being proven untrue, you watch him in court refusing to take
the stand in his own defense, but outside of court, he claimed that he would
testify. So that now you are getting the stupidity and dishonesty that you
voted for.
