All I know is that; although I've never owned a gun, I have been allowed
to handle several. Each and every time I and others were dramatically
warned to never allow the weapon, whether loaded or not, to be pointed
at anyone for even an idle second. I have to believe that he knew better
than to allow the weapon to be pointed at anyone idly and without any
serious intention. Nor was there any reason for him to have pointed the
weapon at anyone or in any unsafe direction.
