That would be a great defense, throwing everyone else under the but, however
doing so fails because Trump has to take the stand himself and he cannot
be allowed to face cross-examination because he just can't keep his story
straight and is prone to telling obvious lies. It would be a disaster to rely on
any of these defenses which is why most lawyers refuse to get involved.
Even lawyers fresh out of asylums and weeks off their meds will recognize
that Trump is a disaster waiting to happen.
