It should be illegal for any President to ask for or demand loyalty
to himself, personally over the Constitution and/or the laws
of the land. There were laws and a Constitution in Germany that
prohibited what Hitler was doing, unfortunately, he had gotten rid of
anyone who put the laws above loyalty to himself personally.
