Once the court creates a Republican Congress they'll never get their power back, the Republican Congress, which cannot be voted out of office ever, will also have the power to impeach any justice who fails to do the bidding of the Republican Congress they created. In short, the court becomes a mere rubber stamp of the President. As such they will never again be able to make any remarkable decisions that distinguish the justices.
