Twitter is suing because if they don't they won't get the 1B breakup fee. Elon will have to settle to end it all and so he will wind up paying and moving on. This is all much ado about nothing,, Elon thought he could own Twitter comfortably but he discovered he had opened a political pandora's box and now he's trying to slam it shut. Twitter, on the other hand wants or needs that money!
