I think those masked faces are there out of nostalgia trying to relive the thrills of the earlier days of the campaign. Now they've come to realize Trump isn't going to do anything for them and he's been endangering them with his masklessness. I'll even bet that some have noticed how quickly he forgot about his "good friend Herman Cain" so quickly and without a single kind word for him.
