If I recall, Republicans are always interested in ways to stop the other parties supporters from voting, as a way to gain and/or maintain a Republican majority.  It is their high court appointments who are against supporting "one man one vote" rules and "Corporate Personhood".  Who among us can match corporate money?  Do we really want to be ruled by corporations?  Republicans think that's a great idea and they have lots of followers who either agree or don't know, or don't care.
