Republican "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE SCHEME???
The Republicans have been planning for quite some time how to create the "Get out of jail free" cards they needed to accomplish the tasks they have been trying to do for some time.
They knew that much of their to do lists was illegal. So, while some of them were gerrymandering and purging voters others were either voiding laws or appointing Judges and Prosecutors.
We saw an iteration of this when the attempt was made to prosecute Jack Abramoff in the Marianna's, for aiding slave labor practices, Bush 43 took out the Prosecutor who was working the case and replaced him with a prosecutor who could not work the case because of a conflict prohibition.
I have to imagine that they have populated the benches of the nation with many judges sympathetic to their causes.

Okay, today we learn that Trump's stupid lawyers may have engaged in a conspiracy to obstruct justice by having Manafort make a deal, not to obtain a lighter sentence by helping Mueller, but to get inside the investigation and relay that info out, thru his lawyers to help the W.H. damage the investigation. That, if true, would make them all guilty of obstruction of justice. Here:

Support 4 Trump is Support 4 Putin!
It sure baffles me that, because Trump is keeping secret his dealings with Putin, all that we do know says that Putin is up to no good. What that means, to anyone with two brain cells to rub together is, support for Trump; under these conditions, is support for Russia and Putin's plans.
If Mr. Trump's interaction with Putin is innocent, there's no reason the government shouldn't know about it. Only if those interactions are nefarious, would there be any reason to keep them from the government. So now his base and his party are all working for Putin and have put America last
The people we have elected to run the country for us are, instead, running it for themselves. The most important thing for them is holding onto their offices. They now put that above all else. That's why we're getting such bad results! Unless and until we find a way to make office holders more accountable to the people and less about just holding onto the office, we are going to wind up with a dictatorship. We seriously need the right to recall public officials when they advocate things that most of the nation objects to. Thus would they be required to explain themselves and not engage in things like they did with the passage of the "Patriots Act". (Google 4 "Passage of the Patriots Act")
