Hee, hee, hee, no one needs to threaten Manchin, he either figures it out for himself or he loses. If the voting rights act isn't passed and the Republicans take back control of the House, the Jan. 6 Committee goes away without answering any further questions. With it the democracy leaves as the Republicans cannot be stopped from taking even more legislative measures to additionally cripple the Democratic party and corrupt the democracy as well as ruin the rule of law by perverting it.
All these official claims of: "We don't know this or that" completely ignores the fact that none of the events under review/discussion would have been justified or encouraged or even possible if not for the false claim that the election was stolen. That is where the complicity and criminality begins.
What we do know is that without the false claim that the election was stolen, there would have been no earthly reason for anyone to march up to the Capitol and attempt to break and enter the building.
Are we supposed to believe that if Trump had not claimed the vote was stolen, that anyone would have had reason to show up and breech the Capitol? Because that's exactly what Nehls is trying to tell us when he says: "Witch Hunt" and "Trump haters".
Merrick Garland is the wrong man for the job! He's dodging and ducking and talking about bringing the little fish to justice with nothing to say about the big fish who are already incriminating themselves with public utterances and assertion in the national media.
They probably just told him that what he might say on the podium could be used against him in a court of law. They probably also reminded him that he had a right to remain silent and that if he could not afford an attorney one would be provided for him (lol).
Obviously, Hannity will have to consult with his lawyers, he's just too close to a criminal conspiracy that he should have known to keep his distance from.
Well, this is welcomed news, Trump is getting weaker by the day, he has had to call off his J-6 commemoration on January 6th where he planned to reiterate his false election claims. This canceled event would probably have drawn bigger crowds and/or more attention than the rally he claims will replace it scheduled for later in the month. Next, we need for those lawmakers who clung to and attempted to further "the big lie", to be held to account for their disgusting transgression of their oath of office.
Well, I for one am not surprised to see charges against Andrew Cuomo dropped. Andrew just doesn't present as a guy with social defects that would lead him to find sexual pleasure in momentary contacts of any kind. He presents as someone who requires the prospect of a longer-term relationship to get any "kicks" at all, but who really is likely to get carried away with celebratory contacting such as hugs, kisses in the ebullient momentum of the fanfare accompanying successes, rewards, awards, and other aggrandizing events. I was never and am still not convinced that Andrew did anything for which he deserves being repudiated.
Unfortunately, we now have a new variant coming in from Asia, called HUA I think, there isn't much known about it, like how lethal is may or may not be and how transmissible it is because there are so far too few cases under study.
He could probably just called his War Room at the Willard Hotel and told them to shut it down and they could have simply radioed their Proud Boys and other Supremacists and crazies and it would have been called off immediately by Bannon and Company.
While a single piece of circumstantial evidence is easily controverted, when you have several pieces of such evidence that all have the same goal and they converge with several people working for the same goal and in communications with each another, that circumstantial evidence ceases to be controversial. Merrick Garland needs to take the advice of experienced and successful line prosecutors both serving and ex or retired and move his case(s) based on their collective judgment alone. He must remember he is not just fighting some run-of-the-mill crime(s), but treasonous crimes committed in the attempt to ruin the Constitutional republic that constitutes the American Government itself.
Professor Nye gives an excellent lecture; you'll no doubt notice that his audience is neither restless, agitated nor bored, but calm and intensely interested as well will you also be.
I think we enjoy the way Prof.Nye uses the science of politics rather than attempt to be just another Shaman of Political Science, where they try to create a "school" rather than allow their discoveries/offers to do that on their own.

We get the figures for Covid infections and Covid deaths, but we don't get any figures for the "Covid Impaired", which we are told also exists. I'd venture a guess that the unvaccinated think that if they get infected and don't die, that's all they have to worry about. It's not and they need to be told what the chances are that they'll be impaired even if they survive.
Forgetting that voting is a method designed to eliminate the need for violence in transiting governing styles. The means of eliminating violence as a means to alter governing methods was needed because violence as a means of doing so is tragically indiscriminate and it makes the progress that a more civil society will be able to achieve, impossible. For example, just imagine trying to study genetic material while guns are being fired and bombs are going off nearby. Imagine trying to teach university lessons while armed men are shooting students and burning libraries and study materials. So, can you imagine what a change in our form of government from a peaceful democratic republic, nation of laws with all subject to and supportive of a Constitution and instead becomes a nation of sycophantic worshipers of a "Dear Leader" who takes "the intelligencia" as a threat to his reign? Exactly how much faith and credit would you place in the long-term appreciation or repayment of various securities? Obviously, under such an environment, it would be incredibly foolish to place much trust or faith in anything, which is why we observe that authoritarian governments do not do very well overall. While China is doing well with its semi embrace of capitalism, the flaws of its totalitarian system are beginning to show big time.
Unfortunately for the Chinese people, Xi is shaking China apart with his paranoia of "western ways", read: "Capitalism" as he learns that large economic fortunes bring with it political power. That's the reason that "Old Money" in America knew enough to stay as far in the background as possible. "Old Money" shunned ostentatious displays of wealth, driving old cars and wearing outdated fashions so as not to appear to far apart from the general population. This left them free to enjoy the trappings of their wealth in the privacy of their mansions, estates, and enclaves without the concerns of the ages that the people would eventually be coming for them again as history has shown they have done periodically. "Neuvo Rich" or "new money" doesn't know or care for this scheme and so they repeat the age-old mistakes of the past.
Now Xi sees the newly rich in China and how they attract attention to their every move and utterance and he sees cause to worry that power centers may soon challenge his own, so he has embarked on a campaign to reign in any and all suspected challenges. One-party systems are notorious for making serious mistakes in the effort to govern. Few realize that political systems are only an illusion of order allowed to exist by people who feel that such systems are necessary for their survival. When such systems become so mangled that they no longer permit the populace to enjoy their survival efforts, the people have no choice but to choose chaos until a new order can be contrived.
Do not forget that unvaccinated people are incubators for the development of new mutations/varients of Covid, one of which could prove even more deadly. The view we have so far of how our defenses would work against such a disaster isn't good at all.
I noted that Putin pulled 10,000 troops back from the Ukraine border shortly before Mitch McConnell made a statement that should have sent chills up the spines of Putin and Xi. To me this says that Putin is getting information from deep inside our government, possibly from people placed inside by Trump and/or friends.
Hey, this junk sounds a lot like what Xi Jinping has been talking about, eh? LOL-- "The name is Bond... Jane Bond!" Sounds like Xi needs a high colonic! Hahaha.
Any real prosecutor would know that, although we don't have absolute proof and/or evidence incontrovertible, there is more than enough material to convince a jury of peers that Trump is beyond guilty of any and all charges, a major transgressor of laws all the way back to the rise of life from the primordial ooze. The attack on the capitol had not "gotten out of hand", because Trump had been in communication with a "WAR ROOM" whose purpose was to manage and foment the attack.
