GOP election official (who Trump fired) speaks to CNN
This money will help pay some of those 421 million dollar debts Trump was worried about, at least that's if his lawyers don't get it first. The best lawyers know better than to risk running their reputations by representing "loose cannon" Trump.
Nicole Byer and Jon Lovett on Giuliani’s Slurring Witness | Lovett or Le...
Pardons don't mean we cannot find out what they were up to. Because a pardon doesn't mean one cannot be questioned. It means that if they are questioned under oath, they must not tell any lies, because that will expose them to new charges. But most importantly, having been pardoned means the witness cannot take the fifth. Because they cannot be charged with crimes for which they have been pardoned, they can no longer claim that their answer might incriminate them. Therefore they must answer the questions truthfully or risk a new court case.
Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski On The Damage Being Done by President Trump
Trump could care less about the problems facing America, less those we face overseas. He will announce his campaign when he figures he can take the spotlight away from anyone and the fact that he may be disrupting the possibility of needed governance could not concern him less. In fact, his revenge will be to obstruct Biden and Congress in any way that keeps the spotlight on him regardless of who benefits or suffers.

Live: White House Holds Press Briefing | NBC News
I guess this explains why the "Law and Order" President needs to consider and issue so many pardons, eh? If only the worst Trump and his administration had done was eat at and patronize businesses they had declared to be off limits.
Justice Department investigating possible bribery-for-pardon scheme
Sounds to me like Barr has been frightened by occurrences and has decided that his best strategy is to "backpeddle" on Trump, as a way to bolster a future claim of innocence.

As far as future employment, I'd be afraid of Giuliani's name showing up on the documents and somehow being made relevant in such a way that the "Four Seasons" video might be played in open court. LOL

How the Recent Supreme Court 5-4 Decision in the NY/Religion Case Proves...
So, this conservative court believes that if your religion decides that you should risk your life and/or the lives of your friends and family to attend religious services (that you probably don't attend all that regularly anyway), then you have that absolute right! I guess now the Governor needs to warn against consorting with people who attend religious services during the pandemic.
Hey, maybe he can require churches to give "must be worn" badges to those who have attended a service? I wonder, were this the bubonic plague, would the "conservative" judges rule that you had a right to bring the plague home from church with you? Do they not consider that it's more than just the church-goer whose life is being placed at risk by this judgement?

Instead of saying "We can get through this..." He should have said: "We can get through this with fewer deaths!" The object is not to simply avoid infections, it is to avoid killing and/or causing more people to suffer and die at the hands and in the care of medical professionals. Medical professionals who are dedicated to saving lives, who are being forced by carelessness, to have to watch helplessly while patients that could have avoided being infected, if their friend, family, neighbors, and members of society took matters seriously and suffered the precautions, instead of seeking quicker gratifications.
