How the Recent Supreme Court 5-4 Decision in the NY/Religion Case Proves...
So, this conservative court believes that if your religion decides that you should risk your life and/or the lives of your friends and family to attend religious services (that you probably don't attend all that regularly anyway), then you have that absolute right! I guess now the Governor needs to warn against consorting with people who attend religious services during the pandemic. Hey, maybe he can require churches to give "must be worn" badges to those who have attended a service? I wonder, were this the bubonic plague, would the "conservative" judges rule that you had a right to bring the plague home from church with you? Do they not consider that it's more than just the church-goer whose life is being placed at risk by this judgement?
