Stormy Daniels has 126 thousand dollars that says Mr. Trump does do cover ups. Not only did he have a lawyer, hired specifically for the purpose of doing coverups, he also had a publisher help him do coverups. Withholding his tax returns is a cover up. Manafort, Jared Kushner, Alex Jones, Bannon, Giuliani, Scaramucci, Sanders and others all engaged in covering up for Trump at his behest. So yeah, he does do cover ups.

Talk, talk, talk, meanwhile we have a lunatic for a President who is using real political powers of his office to tear down the very fabric of America. The values of the Justice department are coming into question, the Supreme Court is suspected of partisan political weight. Now the 17 intelligence agencies are coming under a cloud as a proven and demonstrated liar and sycophant is being given ultimate power over all things classified. All that can be done so far as we can see is to wait for him to lose the vote. Trouble is, he can't be impeached because the Republicans, who hold the Senate, will not allow it. By the time we get rid of him we may not have a country we can manage. Remember, it's one thing to have a rule of law, it's another thing entirely to abide by it. Dictators all have laws for the people to abide by, while they hold themselves and their cohorts above it. Hardly a wonder then, that paranoia sets in so easily and causes so many things to change dramatically from day to day.

To make matters even worse is that, with his new found blanket authorization to look at any and all things Russian, there's no telling where his fishing expedition will carry him. Even things that have no connection to the start of investigations in to Trump/Russia, may be seen and stick in Barr's memory, to be casually and carelessly remarked on later, for a wide variety of reasons. Which is why people have to qualify to even see such sensitive material. For sure, no proven and brazen liar would qualify to view such intelligence.

Now the Presidents desperate attempt to stir up new controversy is turning to placing national intelligence in the hands of an unqualified syncopantic liar. The intelligence sector is not a thing to be played with for political purposes. There are real lives on the line, both our agents and the lives of those who have taken the risks to cooperate with them. The release of something that Barr may see as useful, could easily contain clues that foreign intelligence agencies can use to figure out who is who and where. The threat of intelligence falling into unqualified hands has to be any agents or cooperators worst nightmare, since it could result in the death or imprisonment of the agent, cooperator and his family for life. This has to paralyse the entire intelligence community and has to impact their ability to obtain cooperation. The Valerie Plame debacle was a terrible hit the community took, now it's potentially happening again, who will trust us again?

Not everyone was able to escape, but we won't be told about those who did get caught. They are right that impeachment is a political tool, but that means it must be handled skillfully by a skilled politician. Speaker did not become speaker by being unskilled. She had a bevy of highly skilled competition for the post. She has proven, time and again, that her political judgement and skills are spot on, so with that in mind, I can easily endorse her position. Most especially since impeachment can happen anytime in the allotted time, there's no need to rush and risk a stumble.

One of the biggest components in America's "greatness" is in our foreign policy. Our foreign policy is not making any sense, in light of our troubles here at home.
