Real intelligence agencies would easily misjudge whether or not Putin would invade because they would know of the resistance Putin would meet and correctly assess the absence of the required logistical support. They would scratch their heads and say to themselves: "Only a fool would put an army into a theater of war without available food, fuel, and practical supply lines." They can hardly be faulted for thinking that such a massive Russian army would be unaware of their immediate and potential challenges. Unfed troops do not fight well, surrender and dessert, while without food and fuel morale drops rapidly to below functional levels creating a laughably ineffectual fighting force just as we are seeing. Thus it very well looks as though Ukraine might easily push through to Moscow and amaze the world.
Brag all you want about how big your army is, if you cannot manage it properly it becomes a horrible joke.
