Holy Cow Batman, the USSC just made an illegal ruling. The voting rights act was legitimate legislative law that the court could not overturn or invalidate on the ground that it was obsolete/no longer needed. The invalidation of a law on grounds that it is obsolete is the sole domain of the legislature, there are plenty of laws on the books that are obsolete but only the legislature can remove/invalidate them. The domain of the court is the constitutionality of a law, not the status of it's utility!

Just keep it civil.
