Also, Trump had no permit for any march/walk to the Capitol so it was unlawful and it ensured that the Capitol police had no warning.

Apparently not, the Capitol Police knew of the threat Trump's supporters posed on the 6th of January, so then the question becomes, why did they stand down?  Obviously, they would not have done so without orders, nor would they fail to request the resources they would anticipate being required. So that the question becomes who gave the order to stand down?  Or who contrived the stand down?
