I was aghast to learn that a couple driving an 18 wheeler, earned 150k for the year, only to pay 100k in fuel cost and then had a 13k bill for repairs on the truck. That left them 37k for the year's work, but this "targeting" would probably exclude them from getting a check because of the 150k total earnings.   It's such a shame that Republican plans are often needlessly cruel, shortsighted and mistakenly contrived.
