How Republicans can hold for Trump after this is beyond any ability to think rationally.  Trump is not a kingmaker, he hasn't either the sense or the skills needed to do so, nor will he long take any advice that would allow him to become an effective leader with or without any office.  In fact, anyone who sticks with Trump will quickly discover their mistake, just as those who accepted employment from Trump.  He is a "Duncemaker", work with him and you will be ruined for life.
