Actually, it's really just more of the same.  Screw "the little guy and let the big boys run!"  Now the brokers are "putting their fingers on the scale", to stop the retail investors from joining the fray.  Brokers should not be stopping anyone from committing any kind of trade they desire. They are not in the business nor are they qualified to give market/investment advice, there are qualified market/investment advisers.  While brokers may post the advice of qualified investment advisers, they are not allowed to ENFORCE TRADING ADVICE but that is what they are doing.
