Chris Hayes: U.S. Faces Three Dire Crises Right Now | All In | MSNBC

Try to imagine 5,700 people riding our crowded subways and busses several times a day. Walking along our crowded sidewalks, visiting our crowded restaurants, office buildings and government offices.  Even if they are not coughing or sneezing they are depositing viruses on hard surfaces, dollar bills, coins and charge cards, where they can survive for 72 hours or more.  The potential numbers of people those 5,700 could infect in a day in New York city is staggering.  Likely we're going to discover cases running into the millions of people in very short order.

Neither Trump nor his foolish, unqualified "yes wo/men" have no idea which department(s) to send his order to, in order to have it complied with.  All he can do is mouth big talk, "we did this, we're doing that", but in truth he hasn't done anything but sit around and take credit for the things that other administrations have done.  He couldn't sit through the kind of briefing needed to accomplish fashioning any kind of process, procedure or order to do anything.

"Grim Reaper" Moscow Mitch had a chance to remove this dangerously incompetent President from office and restore, thereby, the rule of Congressional oversight, now the incompetent President is free to run amuck.

So, self proclaimed "Grim Reaper" Moscow Mitch McConnell, who has destroyed congressional oversight of the failed executive lunatic, now has every unnecessary death on his hands. He kept the incompetent President in office by dismissing the articles of impeachment of the skid mark in chief who grants security clearances to people who should not have them, while taking them away from people who are qualified. Then not firing his sycophantic Attorney General because he uses his high office to the benefit of the President and against anyone else. These are dark days for Trumpistan, the American banana Republic.

About those stimulus payments, if a trillion dollars in checks gets sent out almost 50% of that money will have to be paid to landlords immediately, halving the effect of the effort. The obvious answer is that landlords must also be asked to take a step back on the rents they're due to collect from people who cannot work because their businesses are closed. Of course landlords will be right to say that they have mortgages to pay and so, the obvious answer to that is; the bankers and financial services need to step back as well. In effect, we must all step back together to protect our country and our economy.

Trump has so damaged the Presidency that we must realize that the honor system cannot be so heavily relied upon, when it comes to matters of Congressional oversight, because Presidents can, not only be crooked, but they can collude with foreign and adversarial governments to Americas harm. For one, I think the Justice department needs to be made into a Forth Branch of government all by itself where it's leadership needs the approval of a number of votes from each party, not just approval by the party currently in power and the same with the Judiciary.
