America was too frightened of another Trump term to nominate anyone other than a STRAIGHT__WHITE__MAN. We weren't willing to risk doing anything fancy as we were when we had McCain|Palin following the disastrous Mr. Bush. Besides, I never got the feeling that McCain really wanted to win, among other things.
