Shields and Brooks on Tara Reade allegations, Burr investigation
The real problem for middle and lower classes is that rent and mortgage payments takes a huge bite of their income, when they have income. Of course, now that they don't have income, the mere suspension of foreclosures and evictions, does nothing to deal with the mounting debts that these people are facing. Many of them will not have jobs to go to when this ends. Many restaurants and businesses that have reopened may not find enough customers/purchases to sustain them, less make them profitable quickly enough to keep them viable.
