I, for one, don't see how the Lincoln Memorial added anything to his "Town Hall" which did not even seem like a real town hall. He might just as well have held it in the city waste treatment facility for all the good the location did for him. In fact, a waste treatment facility would appear to be highly appropriate, something people could relate his presidency to and feel it to be a really good fit.
