Question: Are Evangelicals moral or amoral? I would think that a moral group would have pulled away from Trump much sooner, so it appears to me that Evangelicals are amoral people, they appear to support cheating, lying and bullying among other things, and they support Russia, China and N. Korea over the United States of America, even though those countries are not religious freedom purveyors and would imprison them if they were to take over. While nazi treatment of Russians during WWII was a Russian Holocaust involving rape, pillage and indiscriminate murders, means they would be unlikely to enjoy freedom of speech, less life for very long at the hands of Putin. I'd sure like to be there when white supremacists try to sell their wares to a Chinese audience, I doubt they'd survive very long at all.

Only the President could order the aid withheld, why would anyone want to illegally withhold the aid? If Trump had some legal reason to withhold the aid, why would they have to keep it secret? Of course, there's no way for Trump or any of his sycophants to defend against any claims/accusations because they have a history of lying to everyone and even under oath before Congress. If Trump is going to defend against the charges he's going to need someone of high standing and credibility to speak on his behalf. No such person would sully their reputation by doing so, because Trump himself cannot be trusted to back up any defense one might provide.

Impeachment is political only in the House of Representatives. If it was political in the Senate, the Founders would not have said "Trial in the Senate". It all hinges on what the Founding Fathers believed a trial meant. Clearly they meant that they expected and warranted that the Senate would hold an American version of the Trial. I believe they even bring the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court over to see that a real trial is being held and not some sort of sham. Of course, at that early date they had good reason to believe that no one would even think of the idea of American's willfully yielding the powers of a monarch to any chief executive, because Americans were familiar with the despotic mess of kings.

China has weaponized debt. They've become loan sharks to the world. They lend small countries money to develop then foreclose on them when they can't pay.
