Trump's Freaky Moment With Putin

Pelosi knows what she is doing.  She knows what is legislatively possible, from what is legislatively impossible.  To give an extreme example to clarify: Slavery was wrong,  but any politician knew there weren't enough votes to end it. Lincoln did it with an executive order, but he had the backing of a civil war and a need for every soldier he could find, to support it.  Knowing that in peace time it would have failed.

The problem with impeachment is two fold, it must be done in a way and at a time where it is possible and in a way and at a time where it does not create more division and if possible, heals what divisions we have.  To impeach or to not impeach both have their risks.  But the greater danger is to attempt the highly improbable before doing what can be done to make a better way possible.  Besides, if all one wants from a declaration of impeachment is the mark of immorality it carries, there is plenty of time for that to happen before the election.  So, expose the public to the evidence and see if that changes minds first.  After all, we don't condone convicting people, simply because they've been accused.  No matter how strong the evidence is, we still believe that it must be submitted to a jury.
