We now know for certain what we have already suspected, that there is no Justice Department independence. The Attorney General is a captive and crony of the White House!  He should, therefore be treated as such and so his foot dragging and dissembling should be treated as what it clearly is; namely obstruction of justice and contempt of Congress. Barr should be jailed for his brazen misuse of his office.
