The only historic reference by which "Monkey this up", can be understood is; its customary use in racially denigrating remarks. There simply is no other reference by which an average citizen can understand the usage. Add to the fact that Fla. has a very racist history to boot and there isn't another conclusion one can draw.
I agree completely..and when it comes to racism, Florida is not very good at it....no poker face, and no ability to keep from blurting out what is on their small minds.
