Yeah, Right! Okay, let's go: Either Palantir
is unreliable, or the human hand went rogue.
Come to think of it, is Palantir also involved
in picking the targets in the Caribbean? If
so, then it should have followed the culprits
from their drug sites to the boat loading.
That would mean it knows either who the
people on board were, or it knows who
knows those people. If not, and it wasn't
the targeter, then, those boats were picked
without any real knowledge (guesswork?).
Neither situation says anything good for the
future as it portends that anyone anywhere
could eventually be targeted as a terrorist,
a terrorist cell, or enemy combatant(s), and
made eligible for "extrajudicial" action.
A coffee shop, a hardware store, an apartment
or car, anything, or anyone, anywhere could
be at risk of being singled out for action.
So, why isn't Congress interested in asking
hard questions and demanding answers?
What, in heaven's name, is going on?
