That's right, it's your retirement savings that they have their eyes on and they're
falsely claiming that it's government money that's being given away when
in fact, it is money the government is helping workers save for retirement
so that it can be kept securely, so that unlike stocks and other methods
of saving for retirement that are more risky, working people have some
protection against being impoverished in their old age. Corporations
like to raid their retirement funds when they deem it "prudent," and workers
who rely on such or stock market portfolios usually end up broke.
