The Pro-Trump Super PAC at the Center of the Ukraine Scandal Has Faced Multiple Campaign Finance Complaints
Randy Perkins donated $500,000 to America First Action, a pro-Trump super PAC, a day after his company won federal money as part of a contract. The same PAC was dubbed “Committee 1” in a federal indictment alleging illegal donations from two Rudy Giuliani associates.

Last year, a Department of Defense contractor quietly donated half a million dollars to a group supporting President Donald Trump’s reelection.
Once a watchdog organization noticed it, the contribution raised an alarm. Federal contractors are not allowed to donate to political entities. And groups are required by law to examine all donations for potential legal issues. If they discover that a contractor has made a contribution, the money has to be returned.
The other unusual aspect of the donation was the man behind it. Randy Perkins, the founder of DOD contractor AshBritt Environmental, had no history of six-figure contributions to federal political groups, although he has been a regular donor to Republicans for the past 15 years. He ran unsuccessfully for Congress as a Democrat in 2016.

The watchdog group pointed out that the money came in a day after AshBritt won a supplemental contract award worth $460,000 from the DOD for wildfire cleanup, bringing its contract total to about $1.7 million.
Asked about the donation, Perkins said he had meant to make a personal donation to express his support for specific Trump policies: “I actually think this administration cares deeply about children and mental health issues.” He said the contract extension had nothing to do with the contribution. Criminal Case Overlaps Uncomfortably With Trump Impeachment Probe | Rach...
Wow, holy corruption Batman! I'm going to guess that Moscow Mitch didn't know anything about all this, his staff hasn't been able to brief him and so he's been supporting a criminally connected President, who has told over 13,000 lies, has broken so many laws and has handed Putin, Kim Jung Un, Turkey, China et al so many victories while trashing our relationships with our allies and damaging our institutions. Moscow Mitch only barely has a clue that Trump's Syrian pullout might not have been a good thing. How is it that an insufficient number of Republicans either know these things or disagree strongly enough with them to seek Trump's ouster? Oh well, with this kind of leadership begin preparing for life under the coming dictatorship, because this is how they begin to take hold.

How does everyone forget that all of Giuliani's mob cases were eventually overturned on appeal because of "overzealous prosecution". That translates into an "Overzealous" defense as a defense attorney and that is not good. What we are seeing is a prosecutor turning defense lawyer while still practicing as a person with a prosecutors immunity.

We go down, down, down as the flames grow higher!
Leaving Republican Congress people with serious egg on their faces. Even those who tried to keep out of it are tarnished because they were not moved by a growing slab of hard evidence that the nation was facing increasing danger from within.

The White House just threw all those Republicans, who argued "innocence" in one form or another,
under the bus, from the train and off the plane; which by the way never landed --but is clearly running out of fuel. You say you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction?

At the outset the Republicans answers were to address a view that these were errant and unconnected if unfortunate phrases, being twisted and spun by partisans. Now we know that was not the case, this was a plan that enlisted and engulfed many players who were pushed, pulled and dragged into the scheme. So that now, everytime one of these Republican deniers opens his or her mouth, we have a record of them trying to portray each and every piece of evidence/testimony as some kind of partisan fare and how their defenses turn out to be just as bogus as they are.
The whole Republican party is being dragged down into the quicksand this corrupt administration is too stupid to conceal.
Meanwhile that absurd letter alerts Erdogan that the U.S. is being led by an ignorant fool who cannot possibly make any useful choices, because he lacks the understanding to sort good advice from bad and the nation is allowing itself to be ruled by his decisions, thus giving Erdogan a free hand. The U.S. military is moribund by the whiplash of the winds of confusion in the Oval Office.

Nancy Pelosi: Trump had a meltdown in meeting
What else did anyone expect? If you expected Trump to have any sort of plan, or even be aware of the great ugly damage he has done to the U.S. prestige, you'd have to be really unaware of the shallowness and ignorance of this foolish crook. He can only get angry and issue epithets at anyone who challenges him to a normal/rational discussion of state business.

Of course we still don't know if Turkish President Erdogan threatened Trump's Turkish properties to get him to withdraw from Syria. We really need to see his tax returns pronto. It's now a national security issue. We need to be sure that not one drop of American blood is being shed for Trump's business empire.

Another crazy man elected to represent people who must be out of their minds. The standard Republican offal; you ask for some ice cream, they say you want an ice cream factory and you clearly can't give everyone an ice cream factory, so no, you are crazy if you want ice cream. Then they go takeover the ice cream factories and raise all the prices. When those factories fail, they then blame it on the Democrats for not paying enough and buying all the ice cream. They've been doing this for two hundred years, it's all they have and everyone has to get wise to it.
If you want to help those worst off, they say you've got to help everyone. But, if you help everyone then you're advocating socialism. Then they point to socialist nations and say that's how bad the idea is. So no one can be helped or should be in their view. That is, except for people who are so well off they do not need any help, then Republicans want to dump the treasury at their feet. Time to show them we understand their coo coo ideas and we reject them because they're insane and they have proved that they have very poor judgement over the last few decades.

Rudy Giuliani “Should Be Worried” About SDNY Probe | The Last Word | MSNBC
Trumpsters forget that not every question they can or will be asked is covered by executive privilege. Thus, if they ignore the subpoenas they are withholding evidence without any justification. Not as they would do if they appeared and selectively declined to answer specific questions that could qualify. Not that any answers would qualify because this is the body that has the clearance and mandate to hear all.

There's the question of fees, retainer/contract and expenses. Giuliani will have to show these things before he can make the claim that he was the Presidents lawyer. Rudy is living in some magical lalaland where he's some powerful public official who is not to be questioned. :-/

It is becoming painfully clear that the GOP is now a criminal gang, the crimes they are struggling to cover for Trump, they have also been allowing to happen and continue. Why are they not concerned about crime? It has to be because they are benefiting from the criminal activity. If you are against crime you must not say you are a Republican because that's what the party leadership working to protect.
