NBC Nightly News Broadcast (Full) - June 3rd, 2020 | NBC Nightly News

They really need to set a mission to give the ISS the push it needs to stay in orbit,  this used to be done by the, now discontinued, space shuttle.  Believe me, if we're ever going to Mars, we're going to need an earth bound space station,  a very large solar orbit station mid way and a Mars orbit station.  The thoughts of making an 18 month unrelieved, highly confined transit is just fantasy,  you don't want to subject anyone to that, the entire missing is stressful enough, everything possible must be done to ameliorate the effort because it is only the first space mission, it is not the last.  So, a "paving the road" model is the way to go.
