Supreme Court Hears Case That Could Determine The Limits Of Presidential...

Limits on what Congress can obtain limits their ability to oversee the Executive.  We need them to have the absolute powers to carry out their oversight duties.  Anything less hands the Executive the powers of a king which the founders were absolutely opposed to.  If Congress were to harass the President the public would "scream" and they would lose their seats if their work was unjustified.  If the court takes the position that the President should be shielded from the Congress,  that would say they have no faith in either the Congress or the political process, it would also hand the powers of the judiciary over to the President.  The stronger you make the Executive the weaker you make the other brances of government.
