Is 'Obamagate' A Phrase With Any Meaning? | Morning Joe | MSNBC

What I'm thinking is: Perhaps General Flynn decided to take a plea to the lesser charge of perjury, rather than face a charge of treason for being secretly in the employ of Turkey while working in the White House.  I can easily imagine that it was the work General Flynn was doing for Turkey, that somehow became a lever that Turkey was able to use to force Trump to abandon the Kurds.  Truth be told, there's just too much about this presidency that we don't know,  even though there are laws on the books that say we definitely should know.  With so many foreign holdings and such a sprawling finacial empire, it's hard to evision Trump as a person with whom there are no foreign entanglements that could be used to control him.  But that's just my guess, what's yours?
