UV lights are not deadly but they are effective virus killers. Remember you are exposed to UV radiation whenever you take in sunlight. You don't fear UV exposure on a beach, there's no reason to fear it while you are fully clothed in an office or meat packing plant. In fact, the more covered up you are the stronger the UV radiation you can be exposed to without any harm.
