Fake trial? No!
This would be a refusal to hold any trial! Under the U.S. Constitution and our laws, a trial is a very specifically enumerated exercise of procedures. Just imagine someone calling a bull a fake duck.
A bull is not a fake duck and what is not a real trial is not a fake trial, it is, in fact, no trial at all.
Therefore Moscow Mitch is planning to circumvent his constitutional duties by refusing to hold any trial at all. Instead he's cooking up some action that is not a trial but that he might be able to get away with calling a trial, simply because he can.
Thus I wonder if the Chief Justice will go along with the charade and not call out the fraud by refusing to take his Constitutionally required part in an illegal exercise, designed to fool the American people.
