The Republicans are acting like they are compromised and Trump holds the keys to their future. Why are they acting against Americas best interest when that is against their own best interest as well?
Remember, in 2015-16 Ukraine had no intelligence service, in fact they barely had any government at all since they were in the throes of massive unrest and protests in the effort to shake off Russian control. So it isn't possible that they could find any reason to mess with our elections at all, they already had their hands full with their own problems brought on by a corrupt leadership under Putin's wing. Russia, on the other hand, wanted a weakened America so as to be unable to come to the aid of the Ukraine. Which suggests what Trump's secret meetings with Putin may have been about.
