At the outset the Republicans answers were to address a view that these were errant and unconnected if unfortunate phrases, being twisted and spun by partisans. Now we know that was not the case, this was a plan that enlisted and engulfed many players who were pushed, pulled and dragged into the scheme. So that now, everytime one of these Republican deniers opens his or her mouth, we have a record of them trying to portray each and every piece of evidence/testimony as some kind of partisan fare and how their defenses turn out to be just as bogus as they are.
The whole Republican party is being dragged down into the quicksand this corrupt administration is too stupid to conceal.
Meanwhile that absurd letter alerts Erdogan that the U.S. is being led by an ignorant fool who cannot possibly make any useful choices, because he lacks the understanding to sort good advice from bad and the nation is allowing itself to be ruled by his decisions, thus giving Erdogan a free hand. The U.S. military is moribund by the whiplash of the winds of confusion in the Oval Office.
